Extra Activities
At Merakids, we believe that childhood is more than just learning — it is a time for wonder, movement, and the quiet blossoming of a child's spirit. Our enrichment activities are thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child: igniting curiosity, awakening the senses, and energizing the body. As a non-profit childcare centre, every program we offer is reinvested back into the children and community we serve.
Mad Science
What happens when you mix curiosity with a little bit of magic? Science! We are proud to welcome the team from Mad Science of Southern Alberta right to our centre, bringing hands-on experiments and jaw-dropping discoveries directly to our children. From bubbling reactions to surprising physics, Mad Science sparks wonder, critical thinking, and a lifelong excitement for learning. A supplemental fee applies to cover the cost of this exceptional program.
